Hi! 

 

My name is Zaira Marquez and I'm 24 years old. 

I'm from Río Gallegos, Santa Cruz, but I came to Córdoba in 2014. Six years by now. 

I'm studying the teaching track here at Córdoba and it's been a while I had the opportunity to start teaching children.

 

I started studying teaching because I think teachers are capable of amazing things. And so are the children, the students. 

We live in a world in which our education it's by far the most important step to grow up, not only as a society but as people.

Being in touch with the language, classmates, teachers,  gives us the tools to have a future, something that belongs to us.

 

Nowadays, the world changes time by time. And our learning process as well. 

We, the teachers, are in charge of giving the students any necessary tools so that they can improve not only their academic learning but also personal: we are required to teach habits, ways of living, communication skills and being there with each student during the process because of course, each student has its own way to learn, but it's important to work as a team as well. We are individuals who live in society. Teachers also have to pay attention to the needs of each student. 

What they need, what they feel, it's essential to know for the development not only of the students but of the teacher as well. That's really communication. Getting to know each other it's by far what makes successful learning. 

 

That is what we are going to do through our virtual classrooms because nowadays the process of learning does not only take place in physical classrooms but online as well. 

Getting to know each other, learn not only the language but to use the language it's what we are going to do. 

It's important for students to have fun while they are studying so in that way they are going to feel full of energy and happiness. Being dynamic, see what are the student's interests is what makes a teacher a real teacher. 

The students would be encouraged to speak about themselves, their lifestyle and what they like doing. 

They are also being required to think and say what they think as well. Since the main objective of online classes would be to make students use the language actively.  As we do not learn just as individuals, students also are going to learn to work cooperatively. Listen to each other and learn about the differences between us and what makes us each of us unique. 

Speaking, reading, listening activities are going to be part of the student process but the fun goes first.

Hola, mi nombre es Zaira Marquez.

Soy de Río Gallegos, provincia de Santa Cruz, pero desde el 2014 que vivo en Córdoba. 

Actualmente estudio Profesorado de Inglés, y durante estos años, tuve la  gran oportunidad de comenzar a dar clases a niños y niñas de primaria. 

 

Personalmente, creo en lo que, como profesores y profesoras, somos capaces de generar en la vida y el crecimiento de cada niño y niña. En el mundo actual en el que vivimos, la educación que recibimos, y que como profesores y profesoras, brindamos, es lo que nos ayuda a crecer, como docentes, estudiantes, y personas. 

La escuela, nuestros compañeros, la educación que recibimos, es el futuro propio que formamos. 

 

El mundo cambia constantemente, y así también el proceso de aprendizaje de cada estudiante. 

Somos nosotros, profesores, quienes tenemos la responsabilidad de no solo transmitir y enseñar contenidos academicos a cada alumno/a, sino también hábitos, formas de vivir, de hablar y comunicarnos entre sí. 

Es importante reconocer que no solo somos individuos sino también que vivimos y trabajamos en equipo. 

Como docentes de la educación, es importante prestar atención a las necesidades de cada estudiante, qué sienten, qué piensan. Porque es allí, cuando hay una comunicación real; y es esto último lo que permite que el proceso de aprendizaje sea exitoso y amigable para ambas partes. 

 

El proceso de aprendizaje, actualmente, no solo es estar fisicamente dentro de un aula. 

Hoy, nos podemos permitir hablar de las clases virtuales, por ejemplo, en las cuales nos vamos a conocer unos a otros  y a aprender no solo del lenguaje pero a su vez, a utilizarlo.

Es importante hacer el proceso de aprendizaje divertido, amigable, para que cada estudiante logre sentirse bien y feliz a la hora de aprender. Saber qué necesita y cuáles son los intereses de cada niño/a, es lo que hace a un profesor/a ser real.

En estas clases, cada estudiante tendrá la posibilidad de desarrollarse individualmente: hablar de sí mismos, de sus rutinas, y qué cosas les gustan o no hacer diaramente. También, serán importantes las opiniones que deseen compartir clase tras clase, ya que, el objetivo, será que no solo puedan comprender el lenguaje pero también producir individualmente. 

Aprenderán junto a la seño a trabajar en equipo, escucharse unos a otros y aprender de las diferencias, las cuales nos hacen seres unicos.  Actividades para desarrollar el habla, la lectura y la escucha serán parte de este proceso de aprendizaje, pero divertirse será la principal.
